Kayak Adventure Series Launches 2025 Season

What is adventure? It is the opportunity to make dreams real. In 2024, the Kayak Adventure Series presented by GoPro brought anglers to unpressured fisheries in America’s scenic heartland. Families and anglers gathered on lakes, rivers and streams to paddle and learn, commune and compete. We celebrated in historic theaters and visited towns that looked like paintings. From Shoal Bass in Georgia to Smallmouth Bass in Wisconsin and all the Largemouth Bass in-between, every road trip was a dream come true.
And the 2025 season has even more in store. Let’s call it the sophomore jump: the Kayak Adventure Series will feature seven events in 2025, adding a stop for the series. The historic theaters return and so do the scenic by-ways and pristine fisheries. Some of the names will be familiar to anglers who fished the Kayak Adventure Series in 2024, while others will be new.
And one location is new to everyone, because it literally includes a new lake. More about that below…. But first, a few highlights:
o The Kayak Adventure Series will run from February to September of 2025, spreading out events over a longer period to improve angler access and travel times.
o Similarly, the Kayak Adventure Series has a greater geographic footprint in 2025, and not only because of the seventh event: with stops in southern Virginia, Texas and Florida, the series expands its reach.
o Kayak Adventure Series returns the Individual Angler Division presented by KastKing, the Torqeedo Team Division and the Z-Man Micro-finesse Micro-Bag Division
o We have also added a High School Division for 2025, presented by Finman Fishing
o Sponsors return and increase, providing individual prizes for the famed Kayak Adventure Series prize list once again.
o Speaking of sponsors, GoPro has provided the GoPro Guarantee, which adds an additional $10,000 or $7,500 prize per event!
And as always, Kayak Adventure Series brings anglers to exciting, under-represented fisheries. In chronological order, these are the stops in 2025:
o February 21-22: The 2025 Kayak Adventure Series begins with Ocalapalooza in Florida.
o March 23: Paris Reelfest (this is a unique single-day bonus event, for more info click here)
o May 3-4: South Boston Bass-A-Thon.
o June 13-14: Springfield, Ohio hosts The Great Midwestivus.
o July 11-12: The series moves to Minnesota for the Mississippi Bronzequest
o August 8-9: The Susky 5 Slam-a-Jama – another Susquehanna epic!
o Sept 12-23: Franklin, PA hosts the season-ending Broodstock II on the upper Allegheny River.
And about that new lake…The Paris Reelfest offers a single day event to anglers who are at the 2025 Bassmaster Classic. One of the eligible fisheries is Bois D’Arc. never heard of it? Well, few have, and that’s because the lake is the first major new reservoir built in the Lone Star State for nearly three decades. Want to fish that rarest of lakes – a brand new fishery that is already producing double digit bass? Then you won’t want to miss stop 2 – or any others – on the 2025 Kayak Adventure Series!
